Healthy Distance Limited is managed by John Davenport and Bruce Martin, both experienced Environmental Health Officers working within local authorities and as Food Safety Consultants to commercial organisations and local councils.

John holds an MSc in Food Safety, Hygiene & Management from Birmingham University and is the author of the textbook "Food Hygiene in the Catering & Retail Trades". He is a former lecturer on the Advanced & Intermediate Food Hygiene courses at Bedford College and Intermediate Food Safety Certificate examiner, an approved Meat & Livestock Commission (MLC) consultant and trainer for The Meat Managers HACCP & Hygiene course.

Bruce is a qualified Lead Assessor in Quality Assurance and holds the CIEH Professional Training Certificate. He has particular experience in connection with cook-chill food, wholesale food suppliers and imported foods. Bruce is also a health and safety practitioner and Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

Healthy Distance Limited is a Registered Training Centre of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, number B/P55315 and is on the training lists of a number of local authorities.
